Bank of America? Still sucks…

I just had to update on my Bank of America experience

Per failing my security questions, I was advised by BoA to go down to Deutsche Bank and present photo identification in order to get my BoA card working again.  I went to Deutsche Bank and talked for a bit with a very nice man who had no idea how to help me.  He thought I was a little crazy, actually. “If a Deutsche Bank customer was in the US and tried to do banking at Bank of America, they couldn’t… so, uh, I can’t really help you if you’re having problems with your Bank of America card” was the gist of what he said.  It made perfect sense, what was he going to do?  Look at my passport and call Bank of America and say “Yes, it’s her, I’m looking at her and her passport, now let her do her banking…”?  I should have realized how ridiculous the whole plan was when I was talking to the BoA woman.  So I went bank to my apartment, intent on calling Bank of America and yelling at them and probably swearing.  I called the number, went through the same maze of options and entering my card number and finally I got to a person who gave me the same spiel about security questions.  He had my account in front of him and apparently there was no record of me calling the day before and getting the questions wrong.  So he just asked me the questions again, except they were different, and easier. And I got them right.  So apparently my card should now work.  And now I know how to get by the security questions regarding debit cards; just call back.  They.have.no.freakin.clue.

that’s just fantastic.  I’m withdrawing my money immediately.
